Myriam Gallot was born in 1978 in
Saint-Etienne and lives in Lyon. After studying at the
Ecole Normale Supérieure, and qualifying as a modern
literature teacher, she turned away from a career as
lecturer and researcher, preferring to dedicate herself
to writing. Her work is divided between general
literature and books for young people, mainly publishing
novels for children and teenagers. The common
denominator is a strong preference for realism, a sense
of genuine curiosity and compassion for people, and a
style which is clear, dynamic, sensitive and highly
contemporary. |

à l’École Normale Supérieure, et une agrégation de
Lettres modernes, elle s’est détournée d’une carrière
d’enseignante-chercheuse, préférant se consacrer à
l’écriture. Elle navigue entre littérature générale et
jeunesse, avec principalement des publications de romans
pour enfants et adolescents. Leurs points communs ? Un
goût prononcé pour le réalisme, une attention curieuse
et bienveillante aux vivants, une écriture claire,
dynamique, sensible et très contemporaine. |
