Franck
Berthier
(France)
Born in 1966, Franck Berthier
is a director, teacher and author.
Together with Robert Wilson, he took part in the
opening of the Opéra Bastille, and the staging of
The Magic Flute and Madama Butterfly.
In 1995 he set up his own company, Dont Acte,
supported by the Rhône-Alpes Region, Annecy City
Council, and the Department of Haute-Savoie, which
has produced over 50 theatrical pieces, including
works by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Melquiot and Goldoni.
He is an associate director at Bonlieu Scène
Nationale in Annecy.
Franck Berthier has also adapted novels for the
stage: L’attentat by Yasmina Khadra, and
Choisir de vivre by Mathilde Daudet. |

Berthier est metteur en scène, professeur et auteur.
Il a participé avec Robert Wilson à l’ouverture de
l’Opéra Bastille et à la mise en scène de La
Flûte Enchantée et de Madame Butterfly.
Il créé en 1995 sa compagnie, Dont Acte,
conventionnée par la région Rhône-Alpes, la ville
d’Annecy et le département de la Haute-Savoie,
compagnie qui a produit plus de 50 créations
théâtrales (Shakespeare, Tchekhov, Melquiot,
Goldoni, etc ...)
Il est metteur en scène associé à Bonlieu Scène
Nationale ANNECY.
Enfin, Franck Berthier a adapté le roman L’attentat
de Yasmina Khadra pour la scène et Choisir de
vivre de Mathilde Daudet.
