Stuart Neville was born
in Armagh (Northern Ireland) in 1972. His debut novel
The Twelve (published as The Ghosts of Belfast
in the USA) won the Mystery/Thriller category of the
Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and was picked as one of
the top crime novels of 2009 by both the New York Times
and the LA Times. The French edition, Les Fantômes de
Belfast, won the Prix Mystère de la Critique du
Meilleur Roman Étranger and the Grand Prix du Roman Noir
Étranger. He has since published three critically
acclaimed sequels, and a standalone historical thriller,
Ratlines, which was shortlisted for the Crime
Writers’ Association Ian Fleming Steel Dagger award. |
