Born in Paris in 1962, Sophie Fontanel is a novelist and journalist who wrote for ELLE magazine for fifteen years, and spent a year as its director of fashion. She is currently a fashion columnist for L’Obs and France Inter. Published by Robert Laffont and translated into more than ten languages, two of her novels, Grandir and L’Envie, have met with great commercial and critical success. Her latest novel, La Vocation, was published by Robert Laffont in 2016.

Née à Paris en 1962, romancière et journaliste, Sophie Fontanel a écrit durant quinze ans pour le magazine ELLE avant d’y diriger la mode pen­dant un an. Elle tient aujourd’hui une chronique sur la mode dans L’Obs et sur France Inter.  Publiés aux Éditions Robert Laffont, traduits en plus de dix langues, deux de ses romans, Grandir et L’Envie, ont connu un grand succès public et critique. Son dernier roman, La Vocation, est paru en 2016 aux éditions Robert Laffont
