Deirdre McQuillan is an award winning journalist, feature writer and fashion editor of The Irish Times. She has worked for many magazines and publications both at home and abroad during the course of a long career in journalism. As fashion editor of The Irish Times, she regularly covers London and Paris fashion weeks and has exten­sively reported on the industry over the years. She is author of seven books including a history of the Aran sweater and a style guide to Dublin and her work as a feature writer has brought her all over the world.
