Panti is Ireland’s foremost “gender discombobu­list” and “accidental activist”. She began performing while an art student in the late 80’s before moving to Tokyo and becoming a fixture on the Tokyo club scene. Returning to Dublin in 1995 she ran some of Dublin’s seminal club nights, hosted the legendary Alternative Miss Ireland for 18 years, and has written and performed four critically acclaimed, hit theatre shows. She is cur­rently touring the world with her stand up show High Heels In Low Places which has played to stel­lar reviews and packed houses around the world. In 2014 she published her memoir Woman In The Making which was a bestseller in Ireland.

Panti est « la trublionne de l’identité sexuelle » et « l’activiste accidentelle » la plus importante d’Irlande. Elle a commencé à se produire quand elle était étudiante en art à la fin des années 80, avant de déménager à Tokyo et d’y devenir une référence du monde de la nuit. À son retour à Dublin en 1995, elle y a organisé des soirées clubbing avant-gardistes, présenté le légendaire concours Alternative Miss Ireland pendant 18 ans et a écrit et joué dans quatre spectacles au théâ­tre, tous acclamés par la critique. Elle est actuel­lement en tournée mondiale avec son spectacle de stand-up High Heels In Low Places qui a ob­tenu des critiques dithyrambiques et a fait salles combles dans le monde entier. En 2014, elle a publié ses mémoires, Woman In The Making, qui ont remporté un grand succès en Irlande.
